According to the results of our recent poll:
59% of you knew that using an Electronic Speed Controller with a Break could cause main shaft failure
52% of users polled experienced main shaft cracking/damange.
19% of those polled were using an ESC with a break.
Of the 19% which used an ESC with a break, ALL of them experienced main-shaft cracking!
This means using an Electronic Speed Controller with a break increases the chances of main shaft cracking over 2.5 times!
Also, of all the people who reported where the breakage occurred, everyone indicated it was towards the top of the shaft, with the exception of one person who indicated it was near the lower gear.
